Description

This strip is from a very fun storyline where a U.S. Navy seaman passes away in an accident but before he dies he rambles about hidden money from a massive robbery. The confession triggers a race between Johnny and different factions trying to find the stolen money. From the collection of the late great Butch Guice.

Very cool to see where Guice's art and narrative inspiration came from! I think Robbins informed him how to work some of those deep inks that are used here for the street level realism.
