Descriptionthis was a pickup from the last CAF live show last November 2024. the idea of a mystery sketch is to pick a character, and it gets picked by an artist and they do a drawing of the character. (sometimes they color or paint the piece as an extra bonus) sometimes you get lucky and other times you get really lucky as with the case with this piece. a beautifully colored green goblin piece by the talented Elmer Damaso. Elmer shows off a classic spiderman villain with his distinctive Manga style. Elmer is part of jiggy's Next comic art crew. stop by and grab a commission from him.Social/Sharing |

Next Comic Art has a well earned reputation for having the best outcome for all the mystery sketches. I think Jiggy really cracks the whip like Bill Lash on the artists to demand more as a matter of pride.

I am sure their is added pressure when someone on jiggy's crew does a mystery Sketch. as you have said, there is a pride factor involved when it comes from his peopple.

Nice pickup! I’m always hesitant to get a mystery sketch during ComicArt, but every piece I see looks incredible, so I honestly don’t know why I’m still nervous, lol.

thanks Kavi. the colors really pop on it. I doubt it would have the same impact just pencil and ink.
