Description

Color guide to issue 29 of the new teen titans series (1980)from the story "first Blood. A classic George Perez cover colored by Artist Anthony Tollin. Tollin is a writer and the premier colorist for many of the DC titles of the 80's. Here Speedy is shooting his arrow at the members of the brotherhood of evil (warp,Plasmus,Phobia and Houngan). a real beauty and about as close as I am going to get to the original cover. the colors are super vibrant and signed by Tollin in the corner box with a Paddington bear remark.

Memorable full black background cover! The Titans were always under the threat of the Brotherhood of Evil because they seemed to have the right powerset to exploit their weaknesses. You can't tell if this scene was real or if Speedy was under the influence again.

this was one of the better perez covers in the run(and that says a lot) they were always a cool group of villians.

I love cover color guides, especially from artists on titles from well regarded runs! They're a very cool, one-of-a-kind collectible!

yes ruben. and still very affordable I have been buyng color guides for some of the pages I have. it adds an extra layer to the collecting aspect of the hobby.

Very cool color guide to have for a George Perez NTT which would definately be difficult/near impossible to get the original for like you pointed out. I'm also a color guide fan and have picked them up here and there especially in cases where getting the black and white original would be very tough.
