DescriptionIt took many years until I found suitable frame for this DR Kalevala page, having a nice birch pattern there :-)In the Kalevala, the birch is an important symbol of nature and plays a significant role in folklore and Finnish culture. The birch appears frequently in the poems of the Kalevala, and it has a special place in the lives of Finns. Beautiful Rosa work! For our generation, he's the good duck artist! While there are many fine artists on the books now in Europe, I don't know if there has been one to take up the mantle since.
