Claire Temple would go on to become a pivotal character in Luke Cage’s world — his love interest and emotional anchor. She’s also the ex-wife of Bill Foster (Black Goliath), who tragically died during Civil War. Claire worked at a health clinic alongside Dr. Noah Burstein, the man responsible for giving Luke his powers.
She and Luke shared a deep connection. Claire even left the East Coast to officially divorce Bill, signaling how serious things were getting. Ultimately, Claire walked away — not from love, but from the constant danger that came with being close to a hero.

Hot Blaxploitation idea where Marvel was hopping onto the NYC movie scene that Tuska and Graham elevate into comic book drama with more dialogue than some of those movies had.
