Description

Dick Ayers Best of the West Episode 12 "The Haunted Horseman" Original Art and Color Guide Group of 2 (AC Comics, c. 1998-2009). Rex Fury, the Calico Kid, pulls himself from the Devil's Sinkhole and collapses on the shore where the ghost of Wild Bill Hickok waits at the edge of life and death. Created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 15" x 10". The original art pages come with the printer's proof color guides. These were created by photocopying the line art to 8.5" x 11" paper and coloring with watercolors. All are in Excellent condition. - ha.com

Ayers did this with the sense of drama and mystery of a TV teleplay. To end it with the time tunnel is a nice cliffhanger.
