DescriptionRon did this piece for me a while back, but I never posted as it had a small coffee drop on the edge of the background. Ron kindly remedied this at Heroes 2025 with a black background, and you’d never know. I love how Ron illustrates the Thing, so having him do his rendition of this classic big John Buscema cover battle scene was a no-brainer. Huge thanks to Ron and Jeffrey at 4C.Social/Sharing |

FF #112 is probably one of my top 5 comic covers of all time. In fact, I'm looking at a huge reproduction of it on my wall as I type this. No homage with ever outshine the original, but just because it's so darned iconic, one can't help but pay homage to the homage. Great job by Ron. Congrats!

Thanks Eric! I cannot wait to see the piece you have in progress. I couldn't agree with you more on this - an all time classic cover!

I like the idea of Ron heroically taking down the villain of the story...the coffee stain! :) Nice homage to an iconic cover with Ron's version of one of his signature characters!

Thanks! Good call, maybe I should have asked Ron to make it a crossover with Too Much Coffee Man!

Wilson has an ultra busy style now, but the right tone is struck here with that full ink fill background here to balance out all that detail in the one on one fight.

I especially love the way Ron Wilson draws the Thing, though the Hulk looks awesome here as well of course! Great add!
