Description

Three pages from a mini-series that whenever I came across a page of it for sale they always caught my eye. Wasn't able to grab one until recently and picked up three sequential pages from the 4th issue.

The thing that always grabbed me was just the heavy darks and lights with rather simple shapes. They always looked made out of scratchboard but instead are just made with swaths of india ink and white out. Its like Sin City mixed with graffiti, geometry, stencils, minimalism and maximalism plus more adjectives and nouns all thrown at the page at once. To me it just stands out in the bold look of the artwork.

SO BEHOLD! A BOLD AND CONTRASTING HUUUUUNNNTREEESSSSS!!!!

The other two pages are posted below under additional images...my favorite of the three is actually the only one I forgot to scan and so I just have the photo used from the eBay sale currently.

Very atmospheric! We wallow with the characters and their struggles to climb out of the darkness.

Really nice inky page, the money must be in the deep blacks, so well done and love the negative space white outline body in middle panel. So well done, great find.
