DescriptionA key issue for Sandman fans as it introduces Dream's elder sister, Death. At this point in the run Mike Dringenberg has taken over pencilling from Sam Kieth and makes the art his own. Here we see Dream accompanying Death as she goes about her duties in New York. Social/Sharing |

When I see this is makes me think a bit of how Kirby used collage - content and art is awesome!

That esthetics is typical from Sandman, unique and sublime. An A+ example. Very, very beautiful!!

Wow, a cool historic page. Really fun piece of art, am I right to see that it's printed photos with section cut out and hand drawn art (a collage and pencil/inked art)?

You normally wouldn't want to meet Death, but this intro is a welcome viewing for art fans. Congrats - fabulous addition!

Wow--What an introduction! Love this page with its slow, cinematic move through London, passing this church and that building in what appear to be black and white photographs, with the characters Dream and Death only slowly coming into frame a little at a time. Brilliant layout for a mind-blowing story.
