Description

(Warner Bros) Looney Tunes began as a series of theatrical animated shorts in 1930 and went on to create some of the most popular animated characters ever.

This Key Master setup with its hand-painted matching BG is from the from the very first Cool Cat cartoon "Cool Cat", original airdate 10/14/1967.

It features Cool Cat himself, along with his antagonist Colonel Rimfire.

Director Alex Lovy was hired away from Hanna-Barbera to create new Looney Tunes characters during the waning days of the show, and Cool Cat was his first.

I was about to say that this does have the Hanna Barbera Snagglepuss character design more than the Looney Tunes look.
