Description

I've been a big fan of John's for thirty years-- and I was thrilled to be setup next to him at OAX 1.0 where we first talked about this piece. Flash forward and he knocked it out of the park, homage to Detective Comics #31 while giving it his own spin.

This piece is an example of a commission I created for a client.

JKS3 has been doing these color pencils on the textured paper for a while and they just get better with each one. So atmospheric for this knowning where to use soft and sharp edges.

That is so cool! Great atmosphere and dark color pallette which differentiates it from the original while still having the core elements for a fitting tribute to Tec 31. awesome piece!
