Description

A signed matte painting of a forest canopy at night hand-painted by matte painter Bob Kayganich for Sam Raimi's Evil Dead II. Ash Williams (Bruce Campbell) was flung through the forest canopy while possessed by demons, only for them to be pushed out of his body by the daylight. While created for production, this matte painting went ultimately unseen in the final cut.

This matte painting of a forest canopy at night is rendered in mixed media on art board. It is hand-marked "Evil Dead II" on the border and is signed by Kayganich. The board exhibits some warping and frayed fibers on the back from adhesive residue. Dimensions: 34.25" x 28" (87 cm x 71.25 cm)
