Willie Ito, born 1934, has had a decades-long art career in which he's worked for Disney, Warner Brothers, and Hanna-Barbera. His 2007 children's book, "Hello Maggie," draws upon his experiences as a child in an internment camp in America during WW2.

Mr. Ito's pencil sketches of cartoon characters are currently being sold on eBay (as of 7.9.2025) by "pop-king."

His description of his work with one of the animation studios:

"I was involved with many of the Hanna-Barbera shows as character designer, layout man, concept artist and designer with supervisory capacity."

Ito's one of the greats! His H-B work during the prime era of that studio in the 60's no doubt make him an expert on the Jetsons.
