DescriptionDeath of Superman shook me to the core. That phenomenon was like catching lightning in a bottle. Getting a page from the death arc is nearly impossible at this point. But I came across this action packed page from the Reign of the Supermen arc. Adventures of Superman 501 was the second appearance of Kon-El/Connor Kent Superboy. Being a kid from the 90s, he was my Superboy. Something about seeing a member of the Super family stopping a bus just screams Superman! So this page is a big deal. It's nice to see how Tom Grummett and Doug Hazelwood drew him in the early days. I took the page to get it signed by Tom at a con. It was nice to see him reminisce over it.Thank you Tom and Doug!!! Yeah, but that's not the way Superman would have stopped the bus. Pretty historic time period as the issues at this time had us all riveted from week to week!
