Description

I cross referenced my pricing and got quotes from not only a very respected art dealer but 3 very serious and respected comic art collectors, (on top of I've been collecting Travis since 1995 and have followed it very closely for 30 years) These prices are very accurate and fair. I am only selling a few of the pieces in this gallery to funnel back into my own artwork and home studio...once I hit my goal. I am pulling the Travis sales permanently.

I love this page. I personally think Grifter Shi is some of the best black and white Vol 1 era
work Travis did. He had nailed his style and just could put exactly what he wanted where he wanted and made it look effortless...it was never stiff or looked overworked. It just felt right and always looked COOL!

I looked yesterday and it seems Travis did about 22 pages for Grifter/ Shi (total) spread between two comics. Of the pages Travis did. Grifter and Shi only appear in about 10 of them!
This page has Grifter IN costume in multiple shots!! So not only a rare series to get Travis art from, but I would say nearly impossible to get a page with Grifter suited up in action.

These are REALLY hard to come by. This page is full size 11X17. This page is inked over the original pencils.
