Description

Recently much of my reading, studying, and collecting has been focused on comic strips and comic strip creators but there was no way I was going to let a batch of BPRD pages featuring Darryl the Wendigo slip through my fingers! In a lot of ways Guy Davis still fits in that comic strip creator mould because he is a cartoonist through and through. No one draws like Guy and he is able to breathe life into these characters with his drawings that instantly gives them a humanity so that you can’t help but sympathize with them. Darryl the Wendigo is a perfect example of that because despite his monstrous appearance you really come to care for him as a character through his all too brief storyline in the book. Pages from this arc are hard to come by so I’m very happy to add these to my collection and to top it off they came from the collection of Mike Mignola himself!

Congrats on a pair of Killer Guy Davis pages! These are amazing additions to your already awesome collection. Darryl is just the best. I enjoyed his appearances. I was bummed that I missed out on another set of G.D. Pages that were offered earlier this week. Hopefully there are plenty more to come.
