Description

I recently found a mini treasure trove of art I purchased way back in the 1990s that's been sitting (well-protected) in a box for almost that long. Here's one of the pieces -- a final-page cliffhanger splash from Legion of Super-Heroes #65 with art by the late Lee Moder (pencils) and Ron Boyd (inks).

Here, the Legion and their for-hire counterparts in the Workforce are trapped on the solar-prison planet, Planet Hell. Featuring:
* Legion characters: Apparition, Brainiac 5, Chameleon, Cosmic Boy, Leviathan, Saturn Girl, Spark, Triad, and XS
* Workforce characters: Evolvo, Inferno, Karate Kid, Live Wire, Spider-Girl, and Ultra Boy

Looks like they got into grunge music and nihilism! Moder and Boyd worked their pens down to the nib creating something this complex!
