Description

This page from Monthly Shonen Magazine Aug. 1969 (I think) was drawn by Jiro Kuwata (or Kuwata Jiro or 桑田次郎 ). He was the artist on the Batman manga series and also co-created 8 Man which became an anime in the 1960s. This page has some kids going swimming but since it's a horror manga, things probably won't turn out well for them.
I consider myself lucky to have this page. The art was mailed then disappeared in Indianapolis or Chicago for two months. It finally showed up on my doorstep and I was happy that it arrived.

I like those hair dos and the big expressive eyes that are a staple to the style now.
