DescriptionDaredevil #115 p15 (1974) Bob Brown / Vince CollettaWhen I first started collecting comics my buddy scored some older Marvel comics that we read over and over again like all our comics. Included were some issues of Daredevil "and the Black Widow" which introduced me to her. Those issues of Daredevil continue to be nostalgic favorites... we knew the comics were old because they were twenty centers! By the time of this issue Natasha was only "co-starring" on the cover and it was twenty-five cents cover price. It was around the time when Covid hit, and I did what I've done for the past decade plus whenever difficult times come - buy artwork to cope. Picked this gem up from Romitaman. This page featured Natasha in almost every panel and serves nicely as a representative of all those issues I remember enjoying as a kid. Natasha is in downtime doing some gymnastics while talking (because who doesn't?) with Ivan. Sadly, Daredevil isn't featured on the page, but we do get him on the back of the artboard in a nicely rendered bonus sketch. And who doesn't love free bonus art? Social/Sharing |

Some great images of Natasha/Black Widow! Def see why this page evokes your nostalgia of the title and her character from that period. And to have the bonus DD sketch on the back makes it even cooler. congrats!

Too cool- there is a fiery envy in my brain! As one of the top seven Ivan Petrovich collectors on the eastern seaboard, this page has always carried a strong appeal for me. Major congrats on adding it to your collection!

You are fooling no one. Ivan collector, indeed. Red head collector, more like.

I think the DD was added to the back to make it sell better back then because people didn't want a Daredevil page without Daredevil. Now, we can appreciate the Black Widow page on it's own as sexy good girl art and the Daredevil as a bonus.

Brown was a great storyteller, and the balletic poses and movements are just perfect for the pace of this story page. It's great to see Brown's pencils on the back as well - so thanks for including that. Lovely page!
