Dr. Strange commission c. 2006 and 2009 (pencils and inks I'm figuring).
Just picked this beauty up...not often full figure pieces show up these days...and this is a stunning example of one of Golden's signature characters in a really cool dynamic and flowing pose.
9.25" x 12.5" on bristol.

Thanks, yeah, cheaper than it would be in person these days, I'd think. And I really love the pose on this one.

Wonderfully dramatic piece. Love the off center composition. The position and posing of the character is fantastic and really makes the piece for me. Congrats on a really powerful Golden example.

Thank you, Eric! Yeah it really is dynamic and I dig the foreshortening on the legs to get it all in the pic...it really works for this piece.

You don't see that many full figure pieces from Golden anymore. The guy must have had some kind of patience to wait 3 years to have it inked up!

Astonishingly awesome grab, Justin - a superb Golden (and Dr. Strange, too? Brilliant!). Michael was obviously all-in on this one; between the cloak, thick black background, and wispy smoke foreground, this thing exudes some serious texture and depth (simply put, magic :) ). So, so good. Congrats, Justin!
