Description

Here Robin has found out the hard way that Dick Grayson's new girlfriend (secretly vampiress Dala) has an agenda she forgot to mention to him, which involves her knowing his secret identity, knocking him out and then tying him up and gagging him. Something tells me that even the most positive interpretation of these events (eg she's just kinky) mean this isn't quite the sort of arrangement Dick had in mind when he met her.

And then a segue into what seems to be a more "normal" domestic situation; Alfred meeting someone in a restaurant to talk business, but when the other person is Christopher Chance, the Human Target (always loved the character), and the business is a job offer is to impersonate Bruce Wayne, you know things are about to get a LOT more complicated, which indeed they did.

Gene Colan's pencils were often obscured by the inkers back in the day, but here are subtly enhanced by the delicate work of inker supreme Alfredo Alcala. Note the cute working in of the names Gerry Conway, Alfredo Alcala and Giordano into the poster on the restaurant wall.
