Description

On this page Andy & Nicky meet with Copley in Paris. It is the first of a 4 page sequence, that largly transitions the story from origins/introductions to the go forward plot of the issue and series.

Copley is a CIA/spook type character and he wants to hire Andy & the team for a mission. Though referenced in prior dialogue, this is the first we see him. And right out of the gate, Copley observes that Andy & Nicky don't appear to have aged at all since last they met 8 years ago... Gotta appreciate the foreshadowing here. While we knew going in that Andy, Nicky, Joe & Booker were immortal this is our first hint that others may suspect their secret.

Nice addition (and congrats on all those pages from the first issue so far!). I haven't had the chance to catch up on this series yet myself (or either of the Netflix films) but do want to check it out eventually.

Issue 1 is awesome! Set off the franchise and the films! The way nighttime paris is handled is boss from Fernandez! It's basically a classic in Rucka's catalog along with Whiteout, Stumptown, Lazarus, etc. that's outside of mainstream superhero.
