DescriptionYear: 1993Size 11" x 17" The definitive spidey artist for me growing up was Mark Bagley. I love what Ditko, Romita Sr & Jr, the Toddfather and Erik Larsen did but it just hits differently. I rushed into shops looking to buy the latest issue of ASM or whatever spidey stuff Bagley did in my childhood days and that nostalgic tint will always color my lens. This piece is an upgrade over a splash I previously owned from Batman/Spider-man as this is from the main title plus it has Spidey in action against Tier C villains! This was Bagley firing on all cylinders and I could not ask for more! Social/Sharing |

What a great image of Spidey in action. The word balloon adds a great comic twist too. Congrats Josh!

Love all that crossfire Spidey gets tangled in! Bagley shows the agility and the flexibility of Spidey in a great splash at the right time period! Bagley is still highly associated with Spidey as images like this don't ever fade from memory.

Jaw-droppingly cool splash! Love hoe Bagley incorporates Spidey right in the middle of the action! Killer piece!
