DescriptionSo bought this from Comic Connect a few years back. With last gasp nod to the Atomic Age, I have always felt that these "World of Tomorrow" themed pieces, whether in animation or comics, are a lot of fun ... especially when you look where we are now and see how much they got right! (or not). The DPS is a bit beat up but still shows well.Social/Sharing |

Nice Glanzman DPS, these "Battle Album" features are pretty sweet and looks like this was the beginning of their appearances in GI Combat. congrats!

Pretty nice as some of these concepts were probably declassified after they already failed. The futuristic look is so out of place because we were supposed to "Make War No More" as a part of the lessons DC War taught us.

Unfortunately the use of VTOLs stalled but it's a really nice concept piece!

Great Battle Album DPS. A great glimpse into what people thought the future would look like in 1970 including islands in the sky! Sounds like a SHIELD helicarrier!

As you say, Heidjer, this piece is just FUN! Fun fact, it was comics books that taught me about VTOL technology, with the X-Men's Blackbird having that capability! Perhaps also the Avengers' Quinjet.
