Grace under Pressure

The Knights of Pendragon were published two series published by imprint Marvel UK.
The Knights of Pendragon are a mystical order of champions bound to the ancient Pendragon Spirit, an essence that has risen throughout history whenever Britain faced corruption, tyranny, or environmental ruin. Guided by the Green Knight, the Pendragons embody archetypes of the legendary Knights of the Round Table, their mortal hosts echoing the spirits of King Arthur, Lancelot, Gawain, and Guinevere.
The Team consisted of:
Peter Hunter � Manifested the spirit of Albion, embodying the will of King Arthur.
Dai Thomas � the spirit of Gawain.
Kate McClellan � The spirit of Guinevere.
Ben Gallagher � the spirit of Sir Percival.
Union Jack (Joseph Chapman) � The spirit of Lancelot.
Cam McClellan' � the spirit of the Red Lord.
Adam Crown � Drew the Caliburn, the Sword of the Dawn, inheriting the mantle of Arthur's heir and Pendragon king.
Later Recruits:
Francesca Grace � Once a Bane Queen, later redeemed and accepted as a true Pendragon.
Sir Gawain (Robot) � An amusement park robot brought to life housing the spirit of Sir Gawain after Dai Thomas stepped down.
Breeze James � Former Mys-Tech agent who inherited the Guinevere spirit after Kate McClellan's retirement.

This cover features Francesca Grace.
This was a recent pick up from the Heritage International auction.
I must confess I have never read the title but I liked this image and I am a fan of John Royle's art.

I've never seen a dragon in the flesh
I grit my teeth on Pendragons in the nineties
And I've got proud Francesca Grace
On the moral grounds, no Marvel envy

But every song's like Bane Queen, Grace Goose, hangin' in the bathroom
Bloodstains, ball gowns, trashy with bomshell moves
We don't care, we're driving battle axe in our dreams
But everybody's Percival, Mys Tech, Dia Thomas your artpiece
Jet planes, islands, Arthur's on a gold leash
We don't care, we aren't caught up in your love affair

And I'll never have Royale's (Royale's)
It don't run in our blood
That kind of Knights just ain't for us
We crave a UK kind of buzz
Let me be your cover (cover)

Nice dynamic cover, with much symmetry, especially for the depiction of Baron Blood. Action-packed!

Cool looking cover! I really like cover designs like this where the central figures are framed by something happening in the 1st person perspective like those guns pointed at them from behind the camera. Nice pickup from the international auction!
