Nice angle for the last panel, and great Mooney inks!

The constant craving of having fresh clean linen is a tough one to break. Mighty tough. Just one more cycle, man. One more is all, I promise. Just a quick one. I'll even settle for quick cycle.

If presented with this scenario, I'd opt for Salvation...at least I hope so. Sweet early C&D appearance from a memorable issue of Spectacular (always loved that cover with the circular pattern emerging from Tandy and taking over the background of the image), congrats!

I love the super detailed street level backdrop and characters.  And yeah, that last panel of Cloak & Dagger is fantastic!!

Not to wordsmith ... but isn't the opposite of salvation not death but damnation?

C&D were the characters 80's kids identified with most next to Spidey.  They fought to save the youth and were our generation of heroes.

Just love everything about this page.  The atmosphere it creates in the opening tall full page panel is really unique and creative in a way rarely seen.  The call out in the last panel make both panels a perfect way to frame the whole page.  Fantastic!!

Super cool money shot and I love that they introduce themselves, making it feel like it's their first appearance. But even though it isn't, it's still an early one, as you mention. This was also a very good era for stories in Spectacular Spider-Man!

Oh, very cool Milgrom/Mooney Cloak & Dagger page, with Dagger's popularity she should've got top billing, congrats!

Super cool vertical layout, with the thick streak of black on the left side of the page both saving Mr. Mooney some deadline time and also DRAGGING the viewer's eye to the bottom of the page ("Gotta stop!  Can't go any further!", indeed!).  Nice moves!  And the early C&D appearance really makes this one special.  Congrats, Rick!
