DescriptionPublished 1978When Earths Collide! written by Gerry Conway The wizard Karmang plans to bring Superman's and Captain Marvel's Earths together in a giant cataclysm to produce enough energy to release his fellow Martians from their ghostly existence. Karmang sets Superman against Captain Marvel to keep the heroes distracted while he executes his plot but Supergirl and Mary Marvel realize what he is doing and attack him in his lair. Now that Supergirl pose is quite outstanding and I may have seen it somewhere else. Social/Sharing |

I always enjoyed those many Superman vs Captain Marvel throw downs. Cap takes one right on the chin. Classic!

I read this book until the cover came off. It's great to see a page from it. Good eye on that Supergirl pose. Almost exact!

Well, that is a Garcia-Lopez pose, so there's no shame in re-using that one. That's 'homage'. Gorgeous Giordano inks, and a great, action-packed page!

That Supergirl pose really is an eye-catcher. And it's her best costume too. Nice add!

Great art on the page in general! The Supergirl pose/homage to JLGL is cool, and personally I can't take my eyes off that first establishing panel of Castle Karmang. Very nice!
