DescriptionThis is the published inked art for the Doctor Strange #10 Quesada variant — Kevin Nowlan’s inks over a printed blueline of Joe Quesada’s pencils. The pencils are owned by another collector, but what really drew me to this piece is how Nowlan doesn’t just follow the bluelines — he reinterprets them.The deeper shadows, the flowing blacks, the textures, the attitude… the final image feels unmistakably like a Nowlan piece. It’s one of those rare covers where the inker’s voice becomes the defining look, and that’s exactly why this one means so much to me. Social/Sharing |

Like any great Jazz musician, Nowlan said, "thanks for giving me the blueprint, now I'll make something reminiscent of your plans ... BUT BETTER!"
Like Coltane and Miles. Like Sienkiewicz and Tom Palmer. Like those creators, Nowlan creates magic more powerful than Stephen Strange.
