DescriptionBruce TimmThis artwork hangs on my wall, archival matted and framed behind UV protected glass. I had trouble with glaring and hopefully this image does the artwork some justice. A scan prior to framing is an additional image. This is my all-time favorite piece by Bruce Timm. I recall seeing it on the web somewhere then began a search to find it. I was not successful. I think this was supposed to be Bruce Timm's original pinup for issue 66. But, he was asked for something different. Anyway, some time after my fruitless search, I received a package from Albert Moy. I did not order anything so what could it be? Inside were 6 Preacher pages featuring Cassidy. For a moment I thought, thanks for the birthday present, Albert, even though he had no idea who I was other than an infrequent customer. So, I contacted him. Yes, this was sent to me by mistake. He was grateful I let him know. Wizard World Chicago was coming in a couple weeks. I brought the art to him there. The point of this is when I brought that art, Albert had a few Timm pieces up. I asked if he'd ever seen this color Preacher piece. I did not realize he repped Bruce (yes, my initial search was not very thorough). I think he showed me a small binder of copies of Timm pieces he did not bring or did not have yet. This was in those or he mentioned he had it. It has been on my office wall ever since. This art also gives a peek into what we could have gotten in a Bruce Timm animated Preacher movie or show. Could you imagine? Thank you for selling this incredible Preacher pinup, Albert. A huge thank you to the great Bruce Timm for creating this spectacular artwork of Jesse and Tulip. Social/Sharing |

Great pin-up.
We really are missing out by not having a Timm inspired cartoon.

The colors are so good giving Jesse and Tulip warmth from the hot and arid winds of the southwest. They can stand like this forever as this is a timeless Timm piece.

Very nice Timm take on Preacher, we can only imagine what an animated series in his style would have been. Congrats on landing your favorite Timm piece!
