Description

This is a unique piece. This is the original published penciled page from Jerome Opeña, but Dexter Vines was not the inker (My understanding is that Jerome inked his own pages for this issue.). I bought this directly from Dexter, who bought it from Jerome's art rep at the time, and Dexter inked it himself for fun.

I absolutely love the published page. It's one of my top five from Infinity. The Skrull, Kree, and Shi'ar line up behind Captain America. "For you have earned that, Captain. The fleet is yours one last time. We await your orders." I love it. It's such a well written page. The whole moment feels hopeful, but most importantly it feels earned.

So yeah, a little odd, but I love the published piece, love the penciler, and Dexter's inks are always top notch.
