Nice way to start off the New Year with the arrival of this beautiful cover recreation from Heritage Auctions. This recreation is a real beauty by both of the original creators - that distinctive Giordano "look" shines here on Diana. Plus, a great image of the Invisible Jet, Washington DC, and many Justice Leaguers including my favorites Green Lantern, Flash, Superman and more. Very pleased to add this to my collection especially knowing the original would be far out of my reach even if it became available.

Ed Hannigan and Dick Giordano Wonder Woman #300 Front Cover Re-Creation Illustration Original Art (2005). Ed Hannigan and Dick Giordano revisit their legendary cover to Wonder Woman #300 (1983) with this special re-creation of the front portion of the iconic wraparound design. A Bronze Age milestone and the final chapter of pre-Crisis continuity, the issue celebrated both the Earth-One and Earth-Two Amazons before the coming cosmic reset. At its heart soars Wonder Woman, radiant with her Lasso of Truth and Invisible Plane, surrounded by a pantheon of DC's greatest heroes, including Superman, Batman, Flash, Green Lantern, Hawkman, Hawkwoman, Atom, Elongated Man, Sandman, and Queen Hippolyta. Created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". A protective overlay is taped to the back.
Glue residue staining, smudging, whiteout corrections, stat logo paste-ups, pulled-tape abrasion on top edge, edge/corner creasing, and handling wear. Signed and dated in the lower right image area. In Very Good condition.

One of the few great milestone issues of the 80's before the reboot! The Hannigan/ Giordano cover is certainly one of the highlights that made the book so special with the all star creator list within.
