DescriptionI need to catch up on my posts of Fantastic Four pages by the amazing artistic team of Humberto Ramos and Victor Olazaba! This is my final page to post from FF #3, and it's a great one, featuring a rivalry that has been around since the two characters first met in 1962 in Fantastic Four #5. On this page, Sorcerer Supreme Doom gets his revenge on the Thing for crushing his hands in Fantastic Four #40 (1965). Things look bad for the Thing ... (Bonus: In the first two panels we get the Human Torch and Reed Richards, who is doing some very weird things on his mouth and eyeballs with his stretchy powers) Social/Sharing |

Ben and Victor. Doesn't get much more classic or timeless. Doom is arguably Marvel's best villain creation and you can never get enough of him. As far as Reed, that second panel is probably something I never needed to see. Geez, who comes up with this stuff?

It think it's what Doom's magic is doing to Reed! Stretched to body horror proportions!

Seeing Thing battle Doom is a great reason to read the book! Nice add!!!

The problem with more modern Thing pages, without the speech balloons, is that you don't get a Clobberin' Time. So I whispered it while looking at this one. Then again, you don't get an Ouch either, and the last panel really deserves one.

References to "save states" and "Doom Eternal" suddenly have me in the mood to play some videogames! But no videogame can match the games that Sorcerer Supreme Doom plays with the FF!!! Awesome Ramos page, I love Thing here especially. Nice one Paul!
