Description

This is the 2nd part of an adaptation for a story Jim Shooter wrote and signifies the end of an era as this was the last issue of the Avengers that George Perez would draw for many years. The results of this issue were not the strongest but the book does have pages which demonstrated George's greatness.

In my opinion, the title suffered mightily, at least artistically for several years, until John Buscema and Tom Palmer joined Roger Stern on the book and thankfully George did return back to the book in 1997.

Gotta love those eyes on the ladies! Wanda is such a doll in this page! Perez's last issue on his first Avengers stint and he made the character count shoot up!
