Description

F9 - Phil Jiminez drew this Surfer after several tries at a convention in Toronto in 2003. I think he was trying to get the longing gaze toward planet earth just right. I thank my friend Ron Koomas for getting me this sketch because I was not able to make it to the convention myself. This is the ninth Silver Surfer sketch in the front portion of my Silver Surfer sketchbook as I continue my countdown for the Surfer�s 60th anniversary.

Great to see how Jimenez tackled the Surfer! He's known for the hyper details and it shows that same high effort in a head shot.
