Description

John's talent is making even ordinary heroes seem special. I had enjoyed the issue of "Swamp Thing" where the JLA had appeared, unnamed, but for all that, a force to be reckoned with, and slightly ominous.

In that world, Barbara Gordon, as Batgirl, could indeed put fear into the hearts of the criminal element.

I like it when an artist takes on a character that is not one of the "usual suspects." Totleben puts his stamp on Batgirl, making her far more mysterious than one would normally expect.
