Description

This is one of the most memorable pages of my childhood. Getting that first issue after the original adaptation and seeing this first page, wondering how they were going to continue those adventures, was too much for a little kid like me to fathom. Sometimes the stories were great, sometimes not so much. But this was the page that kicked it all off for me. How about that Star Wars logo at the top? The art is entirely a stat. I asked Chaykin at the Baltimore Comicon in 2007 if he could remember why they used a stat, and he had no idea. (He signed it there too.)
