Description

Fighting the forces of evil in one's bare feet has to be one of the least practical notions a superhero can embrace. When the superhero in question is the Celestial Madonna called Mantis, or the equally mysterious Gypsy, however, I don't mind quite so much. One of my favorite heroines of the swingin' '70s meets one from the go-go '80s, standing toe-to-toe (as it were) on the broad shoulders of justice.

A sweet dual pin-up style commission by the talented Robb Phipps, one of the many artists who took a turn at Mike Barr's fondly remembered, much missed mystery series, Maze Agency.
