Description

It felt like time for another "funny" Trophy Wall piece...well as funny as heads mounted on a wall can be. I have wanted to have a "Venture Brothers" piece done for a while now and Brian Ahern was the perfect choice for it. Briz can do animation likenesses as well as anyone. Here he created 11"x17" of great fun.

For anyone who has not seen The Venture Brothers it is exactly like what Johnny Quest would have been if the writers and animators were taking a mix of horse tranquilzers and peyote. Wickedly funny and a skewering of the super-hero and animation genres.

The piece includes
The Monarch in his lair, 2 of his henchmen looking on from the background and the heads of (top to bottom, left to right):
Dean and Hank Venture, Dr. Venture, Brock Samson, Dr. Orpheus, and H.E.L.P.eR.
Capping the piece off you have Molotov Cocktease and Dr. Girlfriend armwrestling with the loser having to go out with The Monarch.

Love the show and love the art, this is fun! But seriously, like the Monarch's going to take out Brock!? He's harder to kill than Wolverine, the man is programmed to kill! ;)
