I was thrilled to see Enric offering to do commissions for the first time in years (if ever). Based on the pricing, it took me a while to put the funds together. That was fine because it took me months to sort through Enric's covers, arts, generate concepts, mock things up in Photoshop, reject them, rethink and revisit my favorite images. It was exhausting, but fun, to sort through all of his amazing work.

Here are four that made my final cut. My favorite classic cover was already taken, so I couldn't get that one. I almost went for a straight cover recreation (which Enric will do), but I wanted a unique piece. I always liked the spookiness and sexiness of the Blood Red Queen of Hearts and decided to get a piece done with her and Vampirella.

I want to give special thanks to Christi (Enric's liason for the commissions). She was absolutely amazing. She listened to my ideas, gave me great feedback and was encouraging and supportive at every step. I cannot rave enough about how amazing she is and how great she was through the whole process. I don't think I would have committed to this without her help and support. Thank you Christi!

She realizes how much fans care about Enric's art and how much their piece means to them. She was extremely patient and generous with her time and comments along the way. Every artist should have someone like this supporting their efforts!
