DescriptionThis piece is a grail of mine. DeadWorld was the very first independent comic book I ever bought and out of all the DeadWorld covers, this one just grabbed ahold of me and has always been the most striking cover in my eyes. I'm not sure what it is about it, but Vince just nailed it on this one.Unfortunately, my Mustek A3 USB scanner does not scan color very well at all, so I am forced to use this lower res pic from my cell phone. It just can't do this piece justice. The colors are vivid and striking. After expressing to Vince how much this piece meant to me and influenced me as a younger artist, he decided to let it go. It was a favorite piece of his as well. Social/Sharing |
