It was such a fun time inking the interiors of this book over Kyle's pencils. I just recently sold the last 3 interior pieces of original artwork that I had from this book. Fun fun fun times and I really appreciate your love for this book!!

Oh man....I've inked Arvell a couple of times and am getting ready to ink a Batman and a Daredevil full size pinup.... I would LOVE to get the opportunity to ink this if you ever wanted it inked. =)
I was the inker on this issue and it was an amazing time inking Kelley. I always had fun working with him on everything we created together. I no longer own any of my originals from Batman Haunted Gotham and this page along with the 1st page from this issue were my favorite pages in the whole issue. I had a lot of fun with the texture work on the old portrait in particular. Great times as an inker and I'm so glad it found it's way to a good home! I've regretted selling this page ever since I did! LOL
This was a blast to ink! Had so much fun inking Kelley on this series. I only have a few originals left from this series, but I think I held on to some top notch pages and a double page spread! I should post them soon in my gallery. I'm so glad others appreciated the artwork on this under the radar series we did =)

Wow Michael, this stuff you did over Blevins is beautiful! It really gets me excited to do some inking again. The brushwork on this stuff is really great! You can tell you had a great time with it and better yet, it was a learning experience for you. Sorta like inking Kelley Jones was for me. That time for me was a huge growth period. Totally enjoyed looking at all of your pages with Blevins! Now I gotta go pick up those issues :)
You should post another scan of a detailed closeup of a portion of the background on this....AMAZING!

I remember back in the day, going to the Caliber Press monthly meetings with James OBarr, Vince Locke, Guy Davis, and others and drooling over all of the artwork they would bring in to show off to each other. This page was one of the ones that I remember fondly as seeing it in pencil during one meeting when penciller Mark Bloodworth brought it in to hand over to Vince and the next meeting at the Caliber offices, Vince brought it in inked. Fun times!! Man, those were the days :)
This is a page to either issue 19 or issue 20 of The Realm published by Caliber Press. I was the inker on this series over pencils by John Dennis and the writer was Randy Zimmerman. Can I ask where/when you bought this page? I've sold almost ALL of my old original art that I worked on and have actually been trying to locate some of my older work to buy back for myself LOL.
