Description

Here's an acquisition from Graphic Collectibles, Michael Herring's cover for the fantasy novel, "The Fire Queen", by Jack Holland, (c) 1993 ROC. This is a huge (24" by 36") oil painting on canvas. The sky is a lot more elaborate, unfortunately it didn't come out in the photograph and part of it is reconstructed. This is an absolute stunner in real life. Michael Herring made many covers, largely in the science fiction and fantasy genres.
