Description
This piece was given to me by Steve Lipsky and Bryan Balkie, two friends who are also long-time DOA customers. Awhile back, as a joke, I replaced the DOA thank-you note/invoice included with a package of artwork I sent Steve... instead of using DOA stationary, I hand-wrote a note on the flip side of a cereal box (or some other handy piece of cardboard). Steve liked the joke, shared the note with Bryan who is a local friend of Steve's, and the battle of the hand-written thank you notes began. I thought I had victory in my grasp with the "greasy pizza box" note; but Steve and Bryan kicked my butt with this one. Thank you both very much for this wonderful keepsake and for keeping the art-biz FUN!

What a great story -- I have known Steve Lipsky since I was a 14-year old kid which mean for over 30 years and Bryan I've known for at least 10 years or more as all of us shopped or worked at the same comic store, Phil's in Margate Florida.
