DescriptionThis page is from the infamous Spider-man saga "One More Day", in which Spider-man's marriage to Mary Jane Watson was wiped out by Mephisto (aka da' Devil). Still quite the controversy, read as a story, I though it was actually pretty good. Another future controversial item about this page (at least to original comic art collectors) is that it is inked over blueline pencils by Danny Miki, while the pencils for this page were drawn via computer by Joe Quesada. No pencil originals exist. I have seen more and more original comic art where the artist creates the pencil art only, and uses computers to generate the final "inked" pages, but this is the first page I have bought where the process was reversed. Only a matter of time until it is all computer generated, and original comic art goes the way of the dodo.Social/Sharing |
