DescriptionHere's more Natasha portraiture by Gene the Dean, this time inked by Gene's mentor (and long-time Daredevil collaborator), the great Syd Shores. Not that it matters, but this is Gene and Syd's first full portrait of the Black Widow, following their first collaboration drawing her on the previous page 3. I'd love to find page 5 as well, which features one of the countless Natasha-disrobing-for-no-particular-reason panels.Social/Sharing |

I love Gene's work, and Syd doing the inks makes this an AWESOME piece! Nice pick up!

I'm so glad you ended up with this page. That second panel is a killer! Almost enough to make me want to take up skiing. Big congrats!

Even by Gene Colan's ridiculously high standards this is beautiful!

As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O Black Widow.

I really enjoyed viewing a large-sized black & white scan of the original art. It's nice to be able to see all the details of the piece. Very nice inking by Shores on this one.

The ONLY way to improve on the viewing experience of this page, is to play the Theme Music from the James Bond movies in the background , while doing so...Magnificent !!!

Syd Shores did a hell of a job in these DD#80's issues, as good as Tom Palmer in the others issues. Loved them. This page is a perfect example of Gene talent beautifully embellished by Syd. Congratulations !

Regarding the 'Natasha-disrobing-for-no-particular-reason panels' it was a cunning plan to make you spend all your time and money looking for them in later life. Devious Marvel.
