Description

Dick did this to my specs (he did not have a copy of the comic and had forgotten he did the cover!) for a Chciago Comicon Beneift art auction .
It was the year we had an emrgency and I could not afford to bid on anything.
A couple of years ago it turned up and I finally got my Sprang recereation to go with my Golde nage batman page by him. It is the exact painting because Dick wrote on the back details about his donating it to the auction

i have to say this is a pretty spectacular piece. there's something about Sprang's rendition of these 3 characters that's timeless as well as extremely powerful. i'd say this is a Batman Collectors dream piece. congrats!

This is what I call a dream piece! Dick Sprang is one of the DC classics and this is iconic Sprang!
