DescriptionSeen here is the original art to the vintage Star Wars Luke Skywalker on Taun-Taun birthday card from 1980. In case anyone wonders, the inside of the published card read, "Wishing you the happiest birthday in the galaxy!" I actually have every step of the production of this card, from the original work order, down to the finished production card. I even have the envelope used by Drawing Board to send the art around their factory. Incidentally, they misspell Taun-Taun as "Ton-Ton" on their paperwork.As a side note, this art was stolen from my home in a burglary in December of 2020. It spent a few months with the heroin addicts who stole it, and then it turned back up at a local pawn shop in 2021. So, it's had an interesting adventure! So happy to have it back! Social/Sharing |
