DescriptionI just got this at Mega-Con 2005 in Orlando. This story from Mr.Monster 2 is one of my all time favorite comics. If nostalgia to cost were a ratio measuring the value of a piece, then this would be the most valuable piece in my collection. It's rather disturbing, but cute at the same time. I asked Mike where he came up with the idea for Hemo-Boy and he said there was a drink supplement in the 50's called Hemo. Of course proud mothers who served Hemo in their boys drinks to make them strong and healthy would exclaim with pride, "That's my Hemo-Boy!" What better name for a misunderstood child with a clear head full of blood.Social/Sharing |
