Just bought the special edition hardcover collecting this story line and this was the piece they used for the cover. This recreation is so much better. The lighting and textures really stand out.

Abnett and Lanning resurrected Marvel's space heroes. Thanks to their great run on Nova and Guardians of the Galaxy, we get a Guardians of the Galaxy movie. Never thought I would see that happen. Who knows? If the Guardians movie is a success we might get to see a Nova movie with the Sphinx as the villain. Now that would be a treat.

Oh, you mean this really great run by Abnett and Lanning that was mysteriously cancelled just when it was really gaining major steam. Still peaved about this, but you got a great page from a great storyline. Congrats.

What a great scene to emphasize in this commission. I always thought it was so cool when Atom would shrink down to the size of an electron and ride the telephone lines.

It's amazing how some of the simplest looking images are the most difficult to produce. The internal editing required to produce a piece of this quality in this manner showcases a monumental understanding of the expressive line.
