DescriptionThe USS Y.T.362 was a harbor tug. Tugs assist larger ships in breaking, stopping, pushing and pulling. They also move floating objects that have no power of their own. In addition they move construction equipment and can chauffeur crews. They were frequently responsible for the success of an amphibious landing while operating under fire.
